If you are looking for a zombie fix, I've just released a new zombie apocalypse short story on Amazon: Neither Seen Nor Heard. This story fits right into the Zombie Complex neighborhood without any spoilers. I'm very excited about this story because it follows the harrowing apocalyptic journey of society's most vulnerable people: the elderly and young children.
In the story, a great grandfather is left to mind his great grandchildren while the rest of the family goes off to forage for food and gather supplies. Unfortunately, that was days ago. When we join the great grandfather and his young charges, they are getting hungry and worried. As food dwindles, they venture out to find something to eat. But, can these very different generations work together and survive?
I really enjoyed writing this story and hope you enjoy reading it as well. I'd really appreciate your review or rating on Amazon or Goodreads. As always, feel free to DM on Twitter or e-mail about the story. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Did you find Zombie Complex
Every once in awhile, I'll leave a copy of Zombie Complex: The Battle for Chattahoochee Run just laying out so a potential reader can find it. I've left copies of in airports, in shopping centers, on commuter trains, and in lots of Little Free Libraries. I always hope that these complementary copies are found, read, and enjoyed. If you find and enjoy Zombie Complex, give me a shout on Twitter or leave a review about it on Amazon.
I'd hate to think that cleaning people just sweep them up and throw them away. That would be such a waste! If you find Zombie Complex laying out, give out a great big social media shout!

A New Short Story coming to Kindle - Zombie Cage!
I have a new short story coming to Amazon Kindle very shortly. It's called, Zombie Cage, and I think you'll love it. It's a short read with lots of suspense and horror. While it's not related to my novel Zombie Complex, it is set in the city of Atlanta during the same zombie apocalypse. It follows the quest of scientists and security personnel to immerse themselves in the middle of a zombie outbreak for scientific purposes. What they discover about zombies may shock you!

Upcoming Zombie Fiction
There is nothing more relaxing than shooting Granddad's old single shot .22 rifle--unless there are hordes of zombies coming your way. Then, you can't shoot fast enough.
The heroine of my next adventure in the dystopian world of Zombie Complex will have to do her best with the rifle she's given. She has the aptitude. But, it won't be easy to survive. She'll have an ancient but accurate Ranger single-shot .22 rifle. On a recent trip to the range, I was able to fire 10 shots fairly accurate shots with it in 1 minute and 53 seconds. However, my target was only 75 feet away and even shuffling dead people can cover a lot of ground in 11 seconds. Will our young heroine be fast enough?

Welcome to Worlds of Pain
Zombie Complex is the story of an Atlanta-area apartment complex during the Zombie Apocalypse. While many residents flee onto overcrowded highways when zombies come to town, many residents of Chattahoochee Run Apartments have no where to go. The residents themselves come from different worlds. The main characters, Jake and Karen, are American IT workers who thanks to outsourcing don't have the finances to get very far in an evacuation. Most residents are Indian guest workers who have good American IT jobs, but have no "bug out" location available. Can the Americans and the Indians work together to survive?
If you are a looking for a shorter read, check out my short story "Dog Walk of the Apocalypse." Set in the same world as Zombie Complex on the eve of a full-fledged zombie apocalypse, "Dog Walk of the Apocalypse" focuses on a first encounter between our hero and his dog and a single zombie. It also shows why civilization just might crumble faster than you might think.
I really hope you enjoy my work and, if you do, I would deeply appreciate any reviews you can leave on Amazon.com. As I move forward with the blog, I will provide some behind the scenes insight to my own work and I will touch upon some works of other indie authors that you might like. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy Worlds of Pain!
