Zombie Cinquain Poem: The Quiet

No planes
No trains or trucks
No cars or highway roar
Just the still of night, moans, screams, and
gunshots!

For you writers and poets out there, here is a cool looking manual typewriter.  I'm sure that the tapping of a typewriter won't attract zombies.  Well, not totally sure, but it might not attract zombies.  You know, you might want to keep a big knife by the typewriter.

Zombie Cinquain Poem: Tree to Tree

Leaves crunch
Twigs snap and crack
from tree to tree I run
to escape the moaning ones and
live on

Zombie Cinquain: Silence

 Under

complete control

is what they all once said.

Now airwaves and devices are

all dead.

Zombie Cinquain: Sleepless

They scratch
all day and night.
They know we are in here.
The dead can wait for a long time.
Sleepless.

Zombie Cinquain Poem: Comebacks.

I punch.
He keeps coming.
I kick and he comes back.
He bites my arm, I die, and now
I'm back.

Zombie Cinquain: Unstoppable

Nothing
can stop me now
I just keep walking and
eating and walking and eating
my lunch

Zombie Cinquain Poem: Stop Eating!

Watch it!
Lay off the food!
No more cookies or snacks!
Outside is nothing but danger
and dead!

Zombie Cinquain: Taking Chances

Inside
with no TV,
no electricity,
I'll take my chances out with
Zombies

Zombie Poem: The Hiding Time

inside
they can't get us
as long as we can hide
but for food and water we go
outside

Zombie Poetry: Footsteps

footsteps
to left and right
force us to keep running
no food, no water, and not one stop:
zombies
